Cheap Markkinahintasähkö is an electricity contract where you get electricity for the first month at the price of 8,39 c/kWh + basic fee €0 /month from the contract start date! After the first month, the electricity price is based on the average monthly price of the Nord Pool electricity exchange for Finland (i.e., the price of spot electricity), added with a margin of 1,39 c/kWh and a basic fee of €2,99 /month.
If you don't want to adjust your electricity consumption according to hourly fluctuating prices, but still want to keep your electricity price competitive with the current market rate, Cheap Markkinahintasähkö could be your choice. The contract is valid until further notice, and you can terminate or switch to another electricity contract with a 14-day notice period.

First month: fixed energy price 8,39 c/kWh + basic fee €/month.
After that, the energy price follows the average monthly price of the Nord Pool electricity exchange for the Finnish market area (i.e. spot electricity). The energy price for the current month is determined at the end of the month. While the price of electricity fluctuates hourly in the electricity exchange, with the Cheap Markkinahintasähkö contract, the price follows the monthly average, so the price remains the same every hour.
The price of the Cheap Markkinahintasähkö contract consists of three parts:

c/kWh, the fixed energy price for September under the Cheap Markkinahintasähkö
contract would be 8,42 c/kWh. Additionally, the monthly basic fee of €2,99
